Let's Paint Some Happy Trees

Every once in a while, I get the itch to paint. It is a calming hobby that I picked up a few years ago. A few years back, apparently in 2015, Bob Ross ran a Twitch marathon, and I, like many others I am sure, tuned in for this weird and oddly entertaining event. This guy would consistently rip out a beautiful painting in a half hour, all while instructing the viewer in such a relaxed tone. While I first saw this in 2015, I didn’t actually give it a shot until I got a bunch of paints for Christmas in 2017.

On January 5th 2018 I loaded up an episode and began to paint alongside Bob. I was shocked when what I produced was actually not terrible. Bob didn’t lie - anyone can paint.

Fast forward to today. I’ve had a busy year, and haven’t had much of a chance to paint for various reasons. My last painting was probably way back in October 2018. I had a couple new black canvas and nothing planned for this morning, so I figured I should give one of those a go. I loaded up episode 8 of season 10 and painted with Bob again.
