Happy birthday Aeris

No, not the character from Final Fantasy VII. Aeris is my puppy, who turns one-year-old tomorrow. She might be spoiled, but she is a very well behaved pup.

I picked her up in Red Deer when she was around eleven weeks old. At that point, the name the breeder had given the pup was Jesse… which also could have fit in with the Final Fantasy VII naming convention. I had met the breeder in Red Deer, which was about the halfway point for both of us. After getting her home, she wouldn’t stop shaking. To this day she still doesn’t enjoy car rides. Eventually she warmed up to both me and her new home… I think she actually runs the joint now.
